The short version: Stockaway stores the minimum needed to do its job — your shop's identity, your automation settings, and a log of which products were hidden or republished. We never collect, store, or process your customers' personal data.
Stockaway is a Shopify app that automatically hides sold-out products and republishes them when inventory returns. This policy explains what data the app touches and why.
The app requests only the scopes it needs: reading products and inventory, and writing product status and tags. Inventory webhooks tell us when stock changes; we then update the affected product's status or tags via Shopify's Admin API. Access tokens are stored encrypted at rest and are never shared.
We subscribe to Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks. Because we hold no customer data, customers/data_request and customers/redact are acknowledged with nothing to return or erase. On shop/redact (48 hours after uninstall) every record belonging to your shop is permanently deleted.
Uninstalling the app stops all processing immediately and purges your data. Nothing is retained beyond the Shopify-mandated redaction window.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone. The app runs on our own infrastructure and talks only to Shopify's APIs.
